My heart skipped a beat,

Unbelizeable!

Unbelizeable!

So the short of it is that the demon immigration official denied me entry into Belize, for reasons that only he knows. It was said that I needed 500USD in cash, before they would put a stamp on my British passport. Here’s how it went down: Continue reading →

The perfect last night in Mexico, that wasn’t.

The perfect last night in Mexico, that wasn’t.

Having just been thoroughly amused by the banter of a group of middle aged Americans and a good chit chat with a couple of adventurous souls from the same Kingdom stamped on my passport, I took to the streets to find something to tie me over to the morning. Stale fries didn’t appeal to me, so I went back to my camp spot right beside the lagoon of 7 colours and cooked my planned breakfast, six eggs. A Cruise!

Guest post written by Mike O’Hara

I have always been a summer guy, and I no matter how much older I get; I have never really enjoyed the winters too much. They often times to lead to too much indoor time and a series of weather related issues. I recently had to make a smart move of installing a new heating system from www.HOMEPROIMPROVEMENT.com/sears-home-improvement/. I don’t know how I could get through the winter without it. I’ve also had to purchase a new hand plow. We get so much snow that you really, really need one in this area! Some people love the winter, but I spend a lot of time thinking about the summer to come.

To beat the winter woes, I made arrangements to take some time off from work and go on a Bahamian cruise with my wife. There is nothing like a cruise to get one’s mind off the weather at hand. The last time we went, we made a stop on the way back from the Bahamas at Key West and the weather was very warm and beautiful. There’s seriously nothing like a cruise to beat the winter blues, and I can’t wait to get back on the boat.

I will save you the history lesson here, as for one one I don’t know it, and two, those who claim to know it are only really making guesses that rely on more guesses. Continue reading →

From the beautiful Isla Mujeres, to the beach ruins of Tulum, to the jungles of Palenque, to the mountains of San Cristobal. The Quintana roo coast has to be the most touristy part of Mexico, and it was here that I realized that I just know too much about Mexican food. Continue reading →
